TAC-CIV (Tactical Civilian)

IMG_0819.webp

Group Espada has primarily focused on training Law Enforcement and Military units since 2003.  In late 2019, we saw the need to bring our unique approach to the civilian market.  After several months of research, refinement and rightsizing, our TAC-CIV (TACTICAL CIVILIAN) training curriculum was born.  TAC-CIV is a tactical training program that embraces much of our "professional" series training but appropriate for those who are not Active Law Enforcement or Military personnel.

In keeping with our original ethos and vision, TAC-CIV is comprised of academic and didactic ("hands-on") training evolutions.  Simply stated, this means that you will learn why you are doing something well before you attempt to employ any tactic.  We have found that this training approach leads to deeper retention as well as better results under stress.

TAC-CIV is designed as a full curriculum, intended to take you from the most basic firearm skills and tactical details through advanced civilian tactics.  The program begins with TAC-CIV BASIC and evolves to TAC-CIV ADVANCED.  TAC-CIV does not assume any prior knowledge of tactics or firearms.

TAC-CIV BASIC

The TAC-CIV BASIC program is a ground-up introduction to civilian defensive tactics.  The program focuses on the development of personal tactics while employing a semi-automatic pistol.

Prerequisites: None

TAC-CIV INTERMEDIATE

TAC-CIV INTERMEDIATE builds on the foundation established in TAC-CIV BASIC.  Dynamic engagements are introduced, the use of combatives is explored, pistol skills are enhanced.

Prerequisites: TAC-CIV BASIC

TAC-CIV ADVANCED

TAC-CIV ADVANCED focuses on tactical problem solving while refining earlier skills.  The program introduces the use of rifles and advanced combative and tactical knowledge.

Prerequisites: TAC-CIV INTERMEDIATE
